Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I remember the first moment that sheet music turned into music-music. I was playing violin, Suzuki method, and all of a sudden Long, Long Ago turned from notes of different durations in a specific order, into a melody.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Lauryn Hill, The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill Liz Phair, Exile In Guyville 2018 Remaster Olivia Barton, This is a Good Sign Early Liz Phair showcases some of my most closely held values in music. It prioritizes feeling and meaning over perfection or conformity. Olivia Barton's latest is pure gold. And I listen to Lauryn Hill when I need to feel better.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Need This” This is a song about friendship and longing. I wrote it when my best friend moved away to another town. It's all about how much we need each other, and how scary it can be to reach out and ask for it.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I want to release a full-length EP and tour Texas, California, and the East Coast.
