About RAQ
In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I started making music with my manager Ali who introduced me to my executive producer and mentor in music 1990Bishop. We went to the studio and I made a few songs that were not good but we just kept working
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? 1990bishop, Bad Enough Lil Baby, Harder Than Hard NAV, NAV These albums mean a lot to me because I listened to them during the hardest parts of my life which inspired me to not give up on music. Lil Baby and Nav showed me how no matter how fast or slow the come up is it can happen.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Murder In the Air (feat. Yung Fazo)” This song is special beacause it was my first song to get major traction with cosigns from Yeat, Yung Faso, Nessly, and many more at the time. My manager and my brother Bishop worked really heard to put it together.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Going to Atlanta for the first time and linking with alot of people in the industry down there. My manager took me and 1990Bishop down there and it was an eye-opening experience for me because it showed me I can really blow up if I keep working.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? The main thing on my bucket list is just making sure my whole team comes to the top with me and is rich with me. I want to open at Rolling Loud and be a XXL Freshman.
