About Rastyle Republik
In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I remember being about 4 years old, My late mum who used to be the church choir rhythmically tap the table like a Drum. That Tapping has never left my head, It was Magic to my ears. I only came to master it years later and still do it to Date.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Bob Marley & The Wailers, Exodus (Deluxe Edition) Damian "Jr. Gong" Marley, Medication (feat. Stephen Marley) - Single Stick Figure, Burial Ground These albums have very distinct styles and contributions to Reggae Music. Exodus in my opinions is Bob Marley's Best Work while Stick Figures unique style of blending reggae with a touch of Dub and Electronic elements points to the future of Reggae.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Caper Riddim (feat. Muzikal Sheriff, Shamir Tadeiya, Mariah Ngoma, Frankie Dee Kenya & Donteh) (Riddim Mix)” This Caper riddim Project holds a special place as it captures a pivotal musical transition. The Riddim's one drop melody layered with deeply introspective lyrics from all artists make it a personal sonic memoir.
