In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail.
My dad used to be a roadie, Building stages and doing light work for shows, So i got to spend alot of time early in my life backstage and seeing some legendary performers. I even played soccer with Mumford & Sons when i was like 6.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular?
Aaron May, Chase
J. Cole, 2014 Forest Hills Drive
Kendrick Lamar, Overly Dedicated
These three albums helped mold my sound and hold a very close spot in my heart as they helped me with a lot of emotions and essentially taught me how to rap, Between the production and lyricism these are a blend of everything i hope to do in music.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song.
“MWGBO”
This was the first song where i really felt like i was coming into my own. In a time where i was overcoming many different battles and all i had was music, I was able to translate my hope for the future into a song and i hope others can feel it too.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far?
My first open mic set, Me and my close friend GBR Banker preformed an unreleased song that i had forgotten the words too and completely bombed my set. Though later that night i got to preform again and prove myself as more than just another artist.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band?
Definitely, Ive wanted to be a feature on "The Fall Off" since cole first mentioned it, But im so early on that theres probable a thousand things still left for me to do, But thats probably the biggest right now
