One of the most respected names in children's music, Red Grammer is known for infusing his positive-minded singalong anthems with his deep roots in traditional and contemporary folk. Blessed with a lithe tenor voice, Grammer initially gained fame with the folk group the Limeliters after taking over for Glenn Yarborough in the early '80s. He also began recording for children, releasing singalong albums like Can You Sound Just Like Me?, Teaching Peace, and Hello World -- records that celebrated themes of empathy, kindness, and caring for the environment. Though he has explored music for adults, as on 2001's Soul Man in a Techno World, Grammer remains a vital force in children's music, earning a Grammy nomination for 2005's Be Bop Your Best!, collaborating with author Carol McCloud on 2014's Circle of Light: Songs for Bucket Fillers, and underscoring his longstanding faith in humanity with 2025's Hooray for the World.
Red Grammer has also released music as a member of The Limeliters.
