Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I first fell in love with music in my mother’s home-studio, where I started learning Bollywood and Classical Indian dance at just 2 years old. The exposure I had to global music has helped shape my current sound.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Britney Spears, Circus (Deluxe Version) Lady Gaga, The Fame Rihanna, ANTI (Deluxe) I grew up loving female alphas that ruled 2000s pop music. These albums to me are sonically so bold and lyrically unapologetic. These are artists who fearlessly express themselves and their music has influenced my sound.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Outside” I wrote "Outside" with Lunchmoney Lewis. I wanted to make a glamorous song that celebrates girls around the globe and my love for high fashion and high tech. I celebrate self-love and my body, letting dance guide my production choices.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? One of the most memorable moments of my career so far was headlining my first show in NYC at Terminal 5. As a teen, I saw many of my favorite artists play there, so being on that stage in front of thousands of people was a surreal moment.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Next on my bucket list is a world tour. I want to travel the globe and meet everyone who listens to my music and give them an exciting, fierce show.
