Artist Biography
In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. The first time I ever sang in public was in 1994, in the living room of a Southern California home, where about 12 people gathered for a Bible study. I was so nervous and scared, eyes tightly shut the entire time! I've been singing ever since.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Don Moen, God Will Make a Way: The Best of Don Moen The Makaha Sons, Heke Wale No, Only the Very Best of The Makaha Sons Third Day, Third Day This album from Third Day was the very first record I purchased after becoming a Christian. Don Moon had a live album out back then that really fueled my passion for worship. And the Makaha Sons music is the soundtrack of my childhood.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Take My Will” This song was inspired by my faith and my flaws. As I grew in my Christian faith I became more aware of behaviors and thoughts that I wanted leave behind; coming face to face with my inability to do so. This song is my prayer as I sought more of Him.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Singing my song, "The Sound of Coming Home" in our nation's capital for members of congress, high ranking military officials, and our government's elite. It was at the Ronald Reagan Building for a fundraiser; supporting our veterans (PTSD & TBI).
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I've always wanted to be nominated for a Dove Award.
