Artist Biography
Boston's Rilla Force is the stage name of hip-hop, R&B, and electronic producer/DJ Joshua Major-Paschal. Producing since he was a teenager, Rilla Force makes kinetic, bass-heavy tracks that straddle the boundary between ambient soundscapes and sophisticated, club-ready jams. Along with his solo work, he has collaborated with a bevy of likeminded artists including Vince Ryouta, TeaMarr, Dreamchild, Joel Faviere, and others. In 2016, he released the RNBDM EP, which included the single "Jump," featuring Adrien LaSalle and Caitlin Avocado. Also that year, he delivered the single "Swank." The following year, he paired with KB Starr for the track "Standing Ovation," featuring Nu Lighter. ~ Matt Collar
