Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. The first time I picked up the guitar, I immediately got to work. I asked my mom what song I should learn first and she said Everlong by the Foo Fighters. I went to my room, spent a while learning it and that same day I did.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Frank Ocean, Blonde Jeff Buckley, Grace Tyler, The Creator, IGOR When im judging an album, i rate it not based on the song content but how the songs fit together as a group of songs. Obviously I like good songs, but theres a big difference between a collection of songs and an album. these are albums. great albums.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Atrophy Of A Sycophant (Xerces)” It deals with some pretty heavy topics that one day I hope that I’ll be able to share with others. This whole project is a huge story with a huge meaning and I can’t wait to share that story with others.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Working with one of my best friends on IMYSM was a really fun experience. without his help i wouldn’t have had that catchy hook so props to him. a lot of this project and whats coming on the deluxe was with the help of my close friends.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Theres always gonna be something left on my list. As of right now, I hope that one day I can work with some of my idols, Malcolm Todd, Omar Apollo, or even maybe Daniel Caesar. That would be a dream come true.
