Neapolitan rapper Rocco Hunt is melodic, nimble, and tough sounding, whether he's tailoring his rhymes to stark, aggressive hip-hop beats or slick pop productions. A native of Salerno, Italy, Hunt came to major notice when "Nu juorno buono," a number five hit single from his second full-length, 'A verità, won the Newcomers category at Sanremo Music Festival 2014. 'A verità topped the Italian album chart, and SignorHunt, its 2015 follow-up, nearly returned Hunt to the top while yielding his second platinum single, "Se mi chiami." The subsequent chart-crowning albums Libertà (2019) and Rivoluzione (2021) combined for six Top Ten pop hits highlighted by the Ana Mena collaboration "A un passo dalla luna/A un paso de la luna." Ragazzo di giù (2025), led by "Mille vote ancora" -- performed by Hunt at Sanremo 2025 -- entered the Italian chart at number two.
