U.S. Army veteran Rockie Lynne labored in obscurity for over a decade, drifting between both coasts, Nashville, and the Midwest, playing upwards of 300 gigs a year before landing a major label deal in 2006. An accomplished guitar player who attended Los Angeles axe shredder’s haven G.I.T., Lynne’s music showcases not only his six-string chops, but his relaxed vocals and love of direct lyrics and big, pop-influenced hooks. In addition, he is involved in several military-related charities and his song “Red, White, and Blue” is often played at memorial services for fallen soldiers.
