Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My mother listened to music while she carried me for 9 months. My father collected records too before he passed and he listened to a lot of music. I’ve been hearing music since I was born, from my mother’s sweet lullabies to loud taxis back home
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Sade, The Best of Sade (Remaster) I remember seeing this image of Sadie’s face almost like an omen as a kid, it feels like every house i visited had this album and it means the most to me the way her voice sounds, the way she is, the things she’s saying they mean a lot to me.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Being able to put music out in a way that is true to me and honest, no pretences, just bearing my entire soul out on the table and being vulnerable across the world is the most amazing thing to ever happen. hearing people sing along too, special.
