In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail.
I started my musical journey on clarinet in primary school (aged 7/8) and I can remember one Christmas my Grandpa bought me a Dixieland Jazz Clarinet CD (along with some lego) and I loved it, listening to it as I went to sleep most nights.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular?
9th Wonder, Dinner Party, Kamasi Washington, Robert Glasper, Terrace Martin, Dinner Party
Bob James, David Sanborn, Double Vision
Tom Misch, Geography
Geography and Double Vision are two albums I listened to (on repeat) in my first few weeks of uni, so they hold some special memories. Dinner party is another favourite of mine as every song is excellently crafted by the amazing artist collaboration.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far?
I have had some amazing opportunities playing in different bands. One of my most memorable moments is playing at the Montreux Jazz festival with my school's big band, such an experience!
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band?
I want to be able to play my latest album 'Off The Right Path' (along with some of my other songs) live with other musicians. I love sharing my music, and I love performing even more so be able to do both would be amazing.
