About Ruber Lizard
In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail.
Creating a band in high school with my brother and learning to play metal songs was one of our fondest memories.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular?
Arctic Monkeys, AM
Cage the Elephant, Social Cues
Kiss, Greatest Kiss
Kiss is the reason we play music. After watching the movie Detroit Rock City, my brother and I were inspired to create a band. Him on Drums and me on guitar. AM and Social Cues are albums just are full of amazing songs one after another.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song.
“Blessings & Awe”
This song is our next phase of our musical direction. After discovering our keyboardist, we finally felt complete. Adding another multitalented member gave us the freedom to create music without limitations.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far?
Memories we've built as a band with each other are the most important and memorable parts in our career. There's nothing more fulling than being able to create with your friends.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band?
As musicians we till feel we have a lot on our bucket list. Playing larger festivals is a priority along with recording a new album.
