About rxcy
In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail.
I remember making my first song on GarageBand with the Korg M1 MIDI app. I uploaded it to SoundCloud, went to sleep, and woke up to a couple hundred plays. I was honestly so happy. It felt like people were actually listening.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular?
AlunaGeorge, DJ Snake, You Know You Like It - Single
Daddy Yankee, Prestige
rxcy, 909s & Heartache (feat. El Fino) - Single
I'm a really big fan of reggaeton growing up in Miami. and DJ Snake inspired me to make more EDM related music. And, MJ, the goat forever.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song.
“Room 405”
I’d pick “Room 405” from The Love Hotel. It’s really short and simple, but it’s super catchy. It became one of my personal favorites, and it’s cool that a lot of listeners have told me it’s one of theirs too.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far?
Performing live in Argentina was definitely a big one for me. I’ve also DJed at venues around the US and Europe. My favorite part is seeing people have a good time to something I’m performing or mixing. Thank you everyone for supporting me.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band?
Definitely. I want to meet and eventually produce with some of the biggest artists ever. I’ve gotten close, but I haven’t checked that off yet. Being able to create with someone I grew up listening to would be crazy.
