Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. When I was 7 years old, I found what looked like a love letter and I questioned my mother about it, it turned out to be music lyrics for a soul ballad. My mother, who loved singing said we should sing it together and I've never stopped singing since.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Destiny's Child, #1's: Destiny's Child Lauryn Hill, The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill Mick Jenkins, The Healing Component I listened to Lauryn Hill and Destiny's child religiously when I was younger and I still do. I always feel like their music is so honest and soul baring. Mick Jenkins's writing about love and water connect me to my roots.

Tell us why you chose this song. “Do What You Want” I wrote this song when a guy I was dating took me for granted, I gave him and our relationship the most love and patience but it was never reciprocated. This is one of the most authentic songs I've ever written because it was written out of pain.
