Artist Biography
In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. One of my earliest, formative musical memories was seeing my first jam band show. My friend's parents surprised us with Dave Matthews Band tickets, and that show really catalyzed my understanding of music as a performative exploration.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? B.B. King, Indianola Mississippi Seeds Billy Strings, Renewal Theo Katzman, Modern Johnny Sings: Songs in the Age of Vibe These are 3 albums that are in fairly constant rotation for me. They sound great sonically, plus the soul, the songwriting, the guitar work--it's all transcendent.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “After All (Remaster)” I'm especially proud of my song "After All" because I think it shows lyrical depth, managing to unpack sensory experience through enigmatic lenses, underscored by catchy melodic hooks.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Spontaneous cruise ship jams and getting to meet and share the stage with talented and kind musicians rank towards the top of the list, but there's about a 15-second stretch in a jam from 10 years ago that I still think about today.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? There's still a lot of stories to tell and notes to play. Wake up, jam, and then do it all over again.
