Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. At 15, I heard Tarja Turunen’s ‘I Walk Alone’ and got instant goosebumps. That dark, beautiful weight showed me music could feel like a world — and it pulled me into gothic sound for life.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Apashe, Antagonist Apashe’s Antagonist: orchestral force with a dark bite. Cjbeards’ Playhouse: clever, cinematic theatre; Neoni & AViVA’s ‘CAROUSEL’: addictive dark-pop gloss with teeth.

Tell us why you chose this song. “Black Crown” ‘Black Crown’ was my first Sablethorn track — the one that made everything click. A ceremonial, shadow-lit piece built like a scene, drawn from the main character of my vampire novel.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Seeing Sablethorn’s first release go live (artwork, credits, identity) was unforgettable. In that moment it stopped being an idea and became a world other people could enter.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I want Sablethorn to reach far more listeners and grow into a larger, story-like body of work. I’d love to score films or games. This music is written in scenes.
