About Sae
In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail.
One of my earliest musical memories was sitting quietly as a child, listening to songs play through an old radio late in the evening. I remember feeling amazed that music could tell stories and create emotions without saying much.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular?
Ahmad Saefudin, Before I Bloomed
Ahmad Saefudin, EXPECTATIONS
Ahmad Saefudin, Where Light Begins
I chose these albums because they reflect different chapters of my journey as a songwriter. Each one captures emotions, growth, and lessons from real experiences, reminding me why I started making music in the first place.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song.
“Rainbows”
“Rainbows” is special because it turns a simple natural moment into a message of hope. Just as rainbows appear after the rain, the song reminds me that difficult seasons in life can lead to healing, growth, and brighter days ahead.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far?
One of the most memorable moments in my career was seeing people connect with songs I wrote from personal experiences. Knowing that my music could comfort, inspire, or accompany someone through a difficult time made every step of the journey.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band?
One thing still on my bucket list is seeing my music reach the Billboard charts and connect with millions, or even billions, of listeners around the world. More than the numbers, I want my songs to leave a lasting impact on people’s lives.
