Artist Biography
Taking influence from such pillars as Woody Guthrie, Ewan MacColl, Bob Dylan, and Nick Drake, Sam Brothers is a contemporary folk singer based in Brighton, England. With a warm, agile voice in line with the latter and a nimble guitar picking style, he was making a living as a traveling busker when he began uploading his acoustic guitar-and-harmonica songs in 2016. Brothers collected those recordings and added others for his debut album, Farewell to My Old Ways, released by White Mane Records in October 2017. ~ Marcy Donelson
