From stage plays and talent contests to concert halls, Sam Concepcion has bloomed into the full package. The theatre-trained performer takes his crisp vocals and magnetic presence fostered on stage to breathe life to rhythmic pop and emotive ballads, as on his 2007 gold-certified self-titled debut. After Infinite (2013) and Bago (2016), he revamped his music, experimenting with strong beats and cadenced hooks on 2020’s “Loved You Better” and “Reload”, while retaining a pop mindset. The result is a fusion of new wave, pop and R&B, giving a bold new dimension to Concepcion’s sound.
