A Norwegian extreme metal group featuring members of Khold, Tulus, and Darkthrone, Sarke emerged in the late 2000s with a sound that combines black, speed, and doom metal with elements of groove-laden '70s rock. Debuting in 2009 with the blistering Vorunah, the band has issued a string of punishing and dynamic studio efforts, including Aruagint (2013), Viige Urh (2017), and Allsighr (2021).
