Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail.
My father played records every Sunday morning – the house would fill with sound before anyone was fully awake. I remember lying in bed, not knowing the names of the songs but knowing they mattered.

These three represent what I want music to do — the Isleys for pure feeling, Tribe for wit and rhythm, Child Self because it's where I started exploring my own sound.
