In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Recording the radio when I was about 7 years old in 1974 on a cassette tape that included Bus Stop by the Hollies and My Beautiful Balloon by the Fifth Dimension. The evolution from mix tapes to burning CDs to creating playlists has been awesome.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Jerry Garcia Acoustic Band, Almost Acoustic (Live) Pink Floyd, The Dark Side of the Moon Remastered Violent Femmes, Violent Femmes (Deluxe Edition) Each is great to listen to in its entirety in one sitting. There are no filler songs on these. There is good variety. They have songs with great solos and instrumental break sections. Each band was pretty unique and ahead of its time.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Mackinac Island” My regionally famous "hit" also known as "Horeshit and Fudge" is a song about a place that only makes sense if you've been to the place. It has a single swear word repeated multiple times, it's funny, catchy, simple and I feel fortunate I wrote it.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? The release of the best cover version of a Scott Cooley song ever, which was "Used To Be Good Looking" by Americana Singer/Songwriter Ultimate Rick Jones. I'll never forget Ultimate Rick Jones with his amazing voice and band doing my song!
