In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail.
Going to a local music hall each week to listen to gospel groups when they came to town like Gold City, Kingsmen & the Cathedrals. Another big one was Going to see sawyer brown @ Dollywood. "The Race Is On" was at its peak. It’s Vivid in my mind. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular?
Diamond Rio, Unbelievable
Michael English, Michael English
Toto, Toto IV
All there albums were innovative and trendsetters in their time. They broke molds. I’m drawn to those kind of albums and artists who make them. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song.
“Anywhere Jesus Is”
This was the first song that took off for me as a solo artist. It was also inspired by the beginnings of a church plant my wife and I were a part of. It’ll always be a special song to me. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far?
Honestly, it’s as simple as hearing my song on the radio. That’ll never get old. I know as time goes along, this answer will change, but the sheer excitement of hearing your song on the radio will never get old. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band?
Oh, yes. I'd love to perform on the Grand Ole Opry and be Grammy nominated as a soloist.
