About SCRUBB
Incorporating elements of jazz and funk, the pop-rock duo Srubb has been a major presence on the Thai music scene since the early 2000s.
âĒ Scrubb comprises singer Thawatpon Wongboonsiri and guitarist/producer Torpong Chantabubpha. The pair met as education majors at Silpakorn University.
âĒ The pair caught a major break with Fat Radio began playing their self-funded demo tape. That led to a deal with Black Sheep Record, which released their debut album, SSSSS..!, in 2003.
âĒ âāđāļāļĨāđ (Close),â off their 2005 album Club, has racked up tens of millions of streams.
âĒ Scrubb creates the music for the Thai television show 2Gether: The Series. The program is based on a novel by JittiRain. The writer has credited Scrubb's music with inspiring his book.
