About Self Deception
At first listen, Self Deception sounds like countless hard rock bands of the new millennium: rapid-fire guitars, growling vocals and kick drums blasting at double-speed. But the Swedish quartet keeps audiences on their toes by combining those tropes with electronic textures, EDM-style beat drops, and arresting, singable melodies. Post-genre tracks like “Fight Fire with Gasoline,” “Hell and Back” and “Smoke You Out” have reached audiences well beyond typical alternative listeners.
