Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail.
I remember when I was, perhaps 3 years old, hearing my mother play Hank Williams and Elvis Presley records while dancing me across the floor in a small house across from a park on the St. Joseph River in South Bend, Indiana.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular?

These albums provided an essential escape to other places as a young teen growing up in Phoenix. The lyrics, their movie picture-like qualities, stories, vibrant melodies, and musical performances always transport me back to those times.

“First Love Rendezvous”
The lyric came quickly, recalling a first date during a boring meeting at work. It was our first session at CRAS in Tempe. It was recorded live in one take with no overdubs. I literally picked up the sax to solo after singing the last line.
