About Shane & Shane
Propelled by their acoustic songwriting and passionate ministry, Texas duo Shane & Shane are a staple of the contemporary Christian music circuit.
∙ Shane Barnard and Shane Everett first met as college students at Texas A&M, connecting via Breakaway, a weekly worship service led by the former, and they began playing together in 1998.
∙ Shane & Shane’s 2002 debut, Psalms, hit No. 11 on Billboard’s Top Christian Albums chart, and they made the Billboard 200 with their 2003 follow-up, Carry Away.
∙ The duo appeared on 2007’s Glory Revealed and 2009’s Glory Revealed II - The Word of God In Worship, both of which were Dove Award Special Event Album of the Year winners.
∙ They have landed in the Top 10 of Billboard’s Top Christian Albums chart six times, reaching their highest position with 2013’s Bring Your Nothing, a No. 3 hit.
∙ In 2014, they launched The Worship Initiative, which is both a training/resource hub for aspiring Christian songwriters and an ongoing series of cover LPs devoted to classic songs of worship.
