In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. One of my earliest musical memories is of my father, David Smith, taking me and my siblings to watch him perform as a calypsonian in the Bahamas. Stage was name Kasavubu and I remember being in awe of his talent as he sang and entertained the crowd.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Grover Washington, Jr., Winelight Nestor Torres, Morning Ride Spyro Gyra, Morning Dance I chose these albums because they were a huge inspiration for me in my musical career. Each one has a unique sound and style that resonates with me and has influenced my own music. They are timeless classics that I can listen to over and over again.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Hot Sauce on the Pickle (feat. Ingrid Brown & Daphnie Smith)” This song holds a special place in my heart because my two sisters sing on it together. It's a reminder of our bond and love for music, and every time we listen to it, it brings back happy memories of our child hood.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? One of the most memorable moments in my career was when I experienced the indescribable feeling of hearing my own song played on the radio for the very first time.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? One of the items on my bucket list is to fulfill my dream of having my original songs featured in a movie soundtrack.
