Artist Biography
Shortfall began as an early-'90s death metal band called Simply Dead that consisted of Rick Burns (vocals, guitar) and Warren Gregson (guitar, vocals). When they added bassist Dylan Parker, they changed their name to I Died Laughing and their music taste to power pop. A year later, drummer Mitch Cruikshank joined the outfit and the band was renamed Shortfall. Their full-length debut, Hooray for Everything, was released in 1995 by Squirtgun Records. Their follow-up, It's a Miserable Life, was released in 1997. ~ Gina Boldman
