About Silent Waves
In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail.
I always loved music when I was a kid playing Rock band/Guitar Hero. But eventually I would take my music start on my Soundcloud in 2018. Over time, I took music more seriously and became Silent Waves, a name that stuck with me for a long time.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular?
Charli xcx, BRAT
Green Day, American Idiot (20th Anniversary Deluxe Edition)
Kehlani, While We Wait 2
I like music that expresses yourself through the vibes it gives off. These 3 albums influence me to incorporate that sound into my own music.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song.
“Overdrive”
Overdrive was something that I consider a special song because I kept on working on it. I put background noise, I put added tracks and made it the song it is today.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far?
Creating Mistakes in Color and showing off my composing skills was a great moment in my career so far. I hope to rise more with more albums to come.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band?
I hope to express myself more throughout my music journey. I hope that others will join me.
