Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail.
One of my earliest memories was the sight of a guitar string swaying like yarn, catching just enough light to spark my curiosity, I gave it a soft swipe, and that’s when I realized these strings weren’t just yarn but held melodies!
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far?
One of the most memorable moments? That time I fell asleep in the middle of a big performance! I was curled up on the piano keys, dreaming of tuna treats, when a loud chord startled me awake.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band?
Collaborating with a jazz band of actual birds. I’ve always wondered what it’d be like to duet with a sparrow on scat vocals or keep time with a woodpecker on drums. But first, I’d need to resist the urge to chase my bandmates between takes…
