About Smash Into Pieces
Swedish rockers Smash into Pieces stormed the charts with their futuristic image and highly melodic sound combining slick pop-metal and electro-rock. Formed in Örebro in 2008, they released their Top Ten debut album, Unbreakable, in 2013. Three more records, The Apocalypse DJ (2015), Rise and Shine (2017), and Evolver (2018), followed before they left major-label Gain and went independent. A duology of concept albums, Arcadia (2020) and A New Horizon (2021), saw the band's sound evolving in a more electro-pop direction. Their star continued to rise with 2022's Disconnect and 2024's Ghost Code; by then they had racked up over a billion global streams of their music.
