Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail.
I went to a gig at my church aged 14 and wanted to start a band. My mate pointed out that I couldn't sing or play anything, but offered to teach me to play bass. The rest, as they say, is history...
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular?
Frank Turner, Positive Songs for Negative People
The Gray Havens, Ghost of a King
Yellowcard, Ocean Avenue
They sum up my taste in music pretty well, and explore themes that I connect with (faith, love, struggles) with counter-cultural inclinations and a sense of humour.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far?
Releasing my first EP was pretty special. It took a few years to get it all off the ground and was an almighty faff to get out (especially as someone pinched my band name in the meantime!), but it's a real joy to have made it available to everyone.
