In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Sitting underneath the family piano as a child, I would listen to my mother play classical music. It made me keenly aware of how much human expression could come from one instrument. I knew music would be my life's work from that point on.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Kruder & Dorfmeister, The K&D Sessions Thievery Corporation, The Mirror Conspiracy Tosca, Dehli9 Each of these albums represent huge influential turning points for the creation of my project Sonova. Each record embraces downtempo grooves in fresh new ways, weaving funk, soul, dub, reggae, bossa nova and jazz together for a modern sound.
