About Sooj
Sooj is a collaboration between Clay Parton and Canaan Amber of the band Duster and Matt Cagle, who makes records under the name Dirty Art Club. Their music blends the hypnotic lo-fi slowcore of the former band with hazy manipulated samples and loops provided by the latter. They first came together on a 2024 single, then went on a joint tour before recording and releasing Crusher in mid-2026.
