Much like his music, rising star Sosamann is dauntless and full of energy. With Wiz Khalifa’s Taylor Gang label behind him, the Houston rapper is finally seeing national success.
• Before music, Sosa sold drugs to make quick money. Seeking a more permanent escape from poverty, he decided to try his hand at rapping.
• Sosa connected with the Sauce Twinz in 2014 to form The Sauce Factory, a hip-hop movement to unify the historically estranged regions of the Houston rap scene.
• Sosa released his pivotal Trap’d Out 2 mixtape in 2015. The standout single “Did a Whole Lot” caught the attention of Wiz Khalifa, who signed Sosa to Taylor Gang Entertainment in 2016.
• Sosa appears on “What About Me,” a track off Lil Wayne’s 2018 platinum-certified comeback album Tha Carter V.
