Artist Biography
Los Angeles quartet Speak the Truth... Even If Your Voice Shakes is a collaboration between members of the post-hardcore groups Senses Fail and Finch. Following Finch's second reunion and subsequent breakup in 2016, guitarist Alex Linares, bassist Daniel Wonacott, and drummer Alex Pappas approached Senses Fail singer Buddy Nielsen about forming a new band. Referencing the early-2000s tone of their primary bands, Speak the Truth homed in on an anthemic blend of post-hardcore, emo, and soaring pop-punk. They released their debut full-length, Everyone You Love Will Slip Away from You, in late 2017. ~ Timothy Monger
