Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. When we were just children, my brother and I used to go see our parents perform with the symphony orchestra. My mother played flute and my father was the timpanist. I think the magic of the large ensemble with strings planted some deep roots in me.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? MUTEMATH, MuteMath Radiohead, OK Computer Son Lux, Lanterns Radiohead, Son Lux, and Mutemath are a few absolute favorite artists of mine. Each of these three albums combines a deep moodiness, creative composition, and bold sonic ideas. I draw a ton of inspiration from all three.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Badlands (feat. Stu Garrard)” Badlands is special to me because I wrote it with my great friend Stu G during quarantine. We worked on it separately in our own studios, but the collaboration helped me feel close and connected to a friend that I wasn't able to see in person.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I have an idea for an immersive audio/visual live show experience. It would be a real dream to be able to share it with others!
