About Squeeze
In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail.
I think my earliest memory would have to be listening to music by burning cd's on my father's computer. I used to have a whole catalog of old rock music ranging from green day to metallica, all on these blank cd's. I used to spend hours doing this.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular?
Daft Punk, Discovery
Kendrick Lamar, To Pimp a Butterfly
LINKIN PARK, Hybrid Theory
I think these albums are all some of the most interesting, innovative, and impactful albums I've ever listened to. All are no skips, no compromises, and I can't think of anything bad to say about them. Hybrid theory in particular is a huge influence.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song.
“Ignite 2”
I think this song really encapsulates my musical identity, with it's fusion of orchestral, rock, and electronic music elements. It's also a pivotal moment in the canon of my music as well; my entire discography revolves around one narrative concept.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far?
Finally releasing music! I don't really enjoy performing- well, actually, that's not true, performing is fun. Practicing for performance is not fun. But just having my ideas translated from head to DAW to streaming, and finally saying "It's done".
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band?
Too many things to list, not enough things to matter. I'm not really the type to expect a lot from my situations, I'm more interested in making the most of where I am, and enjoy wherever the next moment takes me.
