Rooting their punk influence more towards a heavier, emotional direction is the musical representation of Staring Back's energy. Based out of Goleta, California, Ryan (guitar), Jeff (guitar), Matt (vocals), Vic (bass) and Nick (drums) immediately signed with Lobster Records before any of them were old enough to legally drink. Debuting with the EP Mean Streets of Goleta in 1999, Staring Back's first full-length Many Will Play followed in early 2000. ~ Mike DaRonco
