โข Singers Liraz โStaticโ Russo and Ben El Tavori and producer Yarden โJordiโ Peleg were pursuing their respective solo careers before they first collaborated in 2015 on โ#DubiGal,โ a 2015 single by the Israeli rapper SkyDaMac.
โข Static & Ben El released their first single, โBarbie,โ later in 2015, though the group didnโt hit the charts until their fourth single, 2016โs โStam,โ which reached No. 1.
โข The group is known to embrace other cultures. Their 2017 hit โTudo Bom,โ or โEverythingโs Good,โ features Portuguese lyrics and elements of Brazilian music. With 2018โs โNamasteโ single and music video, they pay homage to Jamaican and Indian culture.
