About Staticlone
A hardcore band splitting the difference between punk and metal, Staticlone play songs with straightforward ferocity and taut rhythms while adding distorted vocals and occasional rhythmic stops and starts for texture. Formed by former members of another Philadelphia hardcore band, Blacklisted, Staticlone debuted with a 2021 demo tape that announced their precise and aggressive style had arrived fully formed. After a pair of flexi-disc EPs, they added a touch of production clarity without sapping their strength on their debut album, 2025's Better Living Through Static Vision.
