Heavily influenced by 1980s hip-hop, UK DJ/producer Steve Mac formed the production/remix team Rhythm Masters with Rob Chetcuti in the '90s. They found enormous success remixing the likes of Todd Terry and Jaydee, as well as becoming an in-demand duo renowned for their live DJ sets. Rhythm Masters split in 2002 and Mac went on to solo success, both as a recording artist in his own right and as a remixer for everyone from Jamiroquai to Charlotte Church.
Steve Mac has also released music as a member of Street Preacherz, K3, Blue Lagoon, Lingua Franca, Disco Dubbers, Rhythmatic Junkies, Rhythm Masters, and Atrium.
