In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail.
At the age of 5, sitting in front of a second-hand piano that nonetheless sounded sublime, learning what music meant.
Everything leads from there: the classical training, the session work, the composing and film work - all stem from that.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular?

Kate Bush, The Sensual World (2018 Remaster)
Kate Bush is a goddess, Stravinsky was a genius and Apparat is a madman.
My influences have been exceedingly wide, my classical training makes me long for more than what is currently popular in music, and I strive to attain that.

“Life's What You Make It (feat. Jenny Electrik)”
The original song, by the great British group Talk Talk, practically got me through college.
So when, 25 years later, I was lost in the darkness after my oldest son succumbed to cancer, this song gave me a way to honour his memory.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far?
Having my version of Dynasty Electric's track "Euphoria" appear on their album of the same name.
Seth and Jenny have been wonderful friends and the fact that they allowed a full-orchestra re-imagining of their title track on their album is amazing.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band?
My bucket list has only just started to fill up.
There are so many things I want as an artist to do yet.
I've scored a few films, but I'd love to continue down that path.
My band Stardust for Jennifer should get a lot more attention than it does.
