In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail.
My earliest musical memory is my mom playing music on the TV at home. I was about 4 years old, when I realized that I could reproduce it on the keyboard by ear. Over 20 years of playing followed from that discovery.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular?
Pink Floyd, The Dark Side of the Moon (50th Anniversary) [Remastered]
Tigran Hamasyan, Mockroot
Yanni, Yanni Live At the Acropolis
Mockroot showed me a pianist can fuse folk, jazz, and metal. Live at the Acropolis is why I play piano a keyboardist owning the stage. Dark Side taught me an album is one continuous experience, which is how I approach my upcoming album Fractals.

“Fractals”
Fractals. It started as a simple idea of grouping polyrhythms. I built around it and it turned out to be my very first musical idea that survived all the way to the final version. The track took about five to six years to finish.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far?
I have performed for the Sultan of Oman. Not many musicians can say that, and it reminded me that music can open doors you never expected.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band?
A lot of things on the bucket list -- performing at jazz clubs in New York, collaborating with world class musicians, releasing the full Fractals album, and of course winning a Grammy.
