A Melbourne, Australia-based singer, songwriter, and guitarist whose grungy, reverb-doting style recalls the likes of Sonic Youth, Stephanie Crase is the musician behind Summer Flake. She released her debut Summer Flake EP in 2012. The next year brought the EP Where Do I Go? before her debut long-player, You Can Have It All, appeared later in 2013 on Rice Is Nice. In the meantime, she continued work with the band Fair Maiden. Crase was a member of the official lineup for Fair Maiden's self-titled debut, released in 2014. In 2015, the guitarist issued another Summer Flake EP, Time Rolls By. She brought in Geoffrey O'Connor to produce her sophomore LP, 2016's Hello Friends, also released on Rice Is Nice. ~ Marcy Donelson
