About Superdrag
A power-pop act from Knoxville, Tennessee, fronted by the dynamic singer-songwriter John Davis, Superdrag scored a hit single, "Sucked Out," from their 1996 major-label debut REGRETFULLY YOURS. After a more experimental follow-up, HEAD TRIP IN EVERY KEY, failed commercially, the quartet moved to the friendlier climes of the indie power-pop scene. Although the band broke up in 2003 following Davis's conversion to Christianity and subsequent move into contemporary Christian music, it was announced in 2008 that the original lineup of Superdrag was reuniting for a new album and tour.
