Australian indie rock/dream pop group Sures formed in their hometown of Sydney in 2011. The band combined dreamy, echo-laden guitars and surf influences to come up with short, hooky pop songs. They quickly developed the songs that would become their 2012 debut EP, Stars, and soon found themselves supporting bigger bands such as Real Estate and Best Coast on the strengths of the EP. They followed up in 2013 with second EP The Night Hero Waste Time Getting Better. ~ Fred Thomas
